TERMS

Narrivela service terms

Read the intended Narrivela use rules, free credit plan, service availability, and current status of the formal terms of service.

Effective date: 2026-10-13

Narrivela is operated by Ian Chen, an individual publisher based in China. Contact yingcong.ian.chen@gmail.com for support. These terms cover the website, studio and Narrivela tools when the relevant feature is available. A preview, a successful sign-in or a platform listing does not by itself make speech generation available. Use of a connected AI client is also subject to that client's own terms.

Use your own account and keep your login credentials private. Speech generation and the free allowance require an account whose email verification is confirmed by the identity service and accepted by Narrivela. Each eligible new account has a one-time CNY 10 service allowance. It is a non-cash usage limit, cannot be withdrawn or transferred, and does not renew monthly. The publisher pays the speech provider costs; Narrivela does not automatically charge you when the allowance runs out. There is no paid subscription or top-up checkout in this version.

All accounts share a CNY 1000 speech-attempt budget per UTC calendar month. The amount is not reserved separately for each user. When the remaining shared budget cannot cover a new attempt, new generation pauses or fails until capacity is available. The global budget period changes at 00:00 UTC on the first day of the next month; your personal allowance does not reset. Queued tasks, available allowance and an accepted submission do not guarantee successful audio delivery.

The account page shows the allowance and the current consumption basis. A real uncached speech-provider request reduces the allowance using a conservative estimate before it is sent. Retries and extra requests after text splitting are counted separately. A failed, cancelled or timed-out attempt may still have incurred supplier work, so its recorded deduction is not automatically refunded. Cache reuse without another provider request adds no provider-attempt charge. Cancelling or deleting a task does not restore already deducted usage. These are non-cash service estimates, not a promise that they equal the supplier's invoice. Separate limits on text, files, request frequency, active work and storage can also prevent submission even when some allowance remains.

The first speech release uses Alibaba Cloud Qwen-Audio 3.0 Plus in Beijing with selected Chinese and English system voices. Public delivery-style instructions are unavailable. The service reads the supplied script rather than translating it. Review pronunciation, pauses, completeness and any factual claims in the script before relying on or publishing the audio. Completed audio normally remains available for approximately 24 hours; download it before the expiry time shown for your result. A later export has its own displayed expiry. Short-lived download links may expire earlier and can be refreshed only while the owned result remains available. Keep links private. Copies you download are your responsibility.

Submit only content and files you are entitled to process and use. You keep the rights you have in your content and allow Narrivela and its service providers to process it for providing, supporting and protecting the requested service. Narrivela does not grant additional rights in third-party material or guarantee that every generated recording is cleared for every commercial use. You are responsible for permissions, attribution and disclosures required for your intended use. Do not use the service for unlawful activity, deceptive impersonation or infringement, to access another person's tasks, to disrupt the service, or to bypass allowance and access limits. Repeated registrations made solely to obtain additional free allowances are not permitted.

The service depends on an operator-managed Mac server physically located in China, its network connection and external providers. Application task processing and storage take place on this server. Interruptions, maintenance, sleeping or stopped equipment, capacity limits or provider changes can affect availability and delivery. There is no promise of continuous operation, a guaranteed completion time or indefinite storage. We may stop new work or restrict an account when necessary to address abuse, a security issue, exhausted budgets or service failure. Material changes to the free programme or service rules will be announced on the website before taking effect where practicable. Existing recorded usage is not reset simply because a price or policy is reviewed.

The Privacy Policy explains task storage, shared caches, usage records, backups, providers and manual account-deletion requests. Contact support if a task, deduction or account status appears wrong; provide its identifier and a short description without sending secrets. We will review the available evidence and explain the outcome. These terms do not remove rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. Updated terms take effect on the date displayed with the published version.
